Our Giving Commitment: 10% of Every Order’s Profit

PaliWatermelon was created to carry Palestinian memory, identity and resistance through clothing. We also want part of every order to support work beyond the clothing itself.
That is why we independently set aside 10% of the profit from every order for Stichting Plant een Olijfboom.
How We Calculate It
For this commitment, profit means the amount remaining from an order after the direct costs of producing and fulfilling that order have been deducted.
These costs can include the garment, printing or embroidery, fulfilment, payment processing and shipping costs paid by PaliWatermelon.
General business expenses — such as website costs, subscriptions, samples and marketing — are not deducted before calculating the contribution.
This means every completed order generates a contribution, even when fixed business costs mean that PaliWatermelon as a whole is not profitable.
How Donations Are Made
The contributions from individual orders are collected and transferred periodically to Stichting Plant een Olijfboom.
PaliWatermelon is a small, independent brand, so the total amounts are currently modest. The commitment nevertheless applies to every completed order.
